An outward crease dent on the aluminum hood was removed by PDR "without damaging the stripe" which was over it.  If the stripe had to be replaced, then the entire vinyl kit would need to be replaced, because there is no exact color matching with vinyl. The cost of replacing these would be over $500.00.

Not many people in the PDR industry are privy to the specialized techniques used to save vinyl when its possible.
